— Questions

Things parents ask

Does my child need a diagnosis?

No. Strong Foundations is for any young person who is out of school or finding it hard to attend.

Can I stay during the session?

Yes. Many parents stay for the first few sessions, and some stay every time.

What if they won't come in, or have a bad day?

That's okay. We can sit and talk, do something very light, or try again another day. Getting through the door counts.

How much does it cost?

1:1 sessions are £55, the same as studio personal training, with lower prices on blocks of 5 or 10. Small-group prices, and invoicing for schools or councils, are confirmed at your free first meeting.

Can it be funded through an EHCP?

Sometimes. You can ask your EHCP coordinator to include sessions in your child's plan, and we'll provide what they need. The council makes the final decision.

Is this full-time education?

No. Sessions are part-time and sit alongside your child's education.

What should they wear?

Anything comfortable they can move in, and trainers. If clothing is a sensory issue, wear whatever feels right.
